About Me
Hey, I'm Chris π
A passionate web developer and digital artist from Kampala, Uganda πΊπ¬
The Quick Version
I'm Chris, and I've been diving headfirst into web development for about a year now - and what a year it's been! I'm completely obsessed with JavaScript and honestly, everything about the web fascinates me. I'm a Computer Scientist by education (shoutout to Makerere University!), but I like to call myself an artist too - though I'll be honest, I don't have any masterpieces to show for it yet. Just a bunch of scribbles here and there, but hey, we all start somewhere, right? Currently, I'm all about building web applications and exploring every corner of web technology I can find - web development, web scraping, web animations, you name it. If it's on the web, I want to learn it.
The Developer Side
- Frontend Magic: Building interactive web applications
- Web Scraping: Because data is everywhere and needs to be liberated
- Web Animations: Making the web more beautiful, one animation at a time
- Everything Web: Seriously, if it runs in a browser, I'm interested
The Artist in Me
Here's the thing - I consider myself an artist, even though my portfolio is currently just a collection of random scribbles. But isn't that how all great artists start? I believe there's an artistic element to everything I do, especially in web development. The way code flows, how interfaces feel, the rhythm of animations - it's all art to me. My creative side definitely influences how I approach development, always looking for that perfect balance between functionality and beauty.

Life in Kampala
I'm currently based in Kampala, Uganda, and I absolutely love it here. The tech scene is growing rapidly, and there's such an incredible energy around innovation and development. Being part of this community has been amazing - there's always someone to learn from, collaborate with, or just geek out about code with. The city has this perfect mix of traditional culture and modern tech ambition that keeps me inspired every day.
